WIDW (What I Did Wednesday)

I forgot to take pictures of food this week yet again… this is becoming a bad habit! How do you guys remember to take pictures of your food?

Well, I thought maybe I could have another What I Did Wednesday post instead. My cousin and her boyfriend came up for a visit and we had such a fun time together!

On a side note, sorry I have not been commenting on your journals. I have been busy with the visitors, but am ready to get caught up over the next few days =) I’ve been a bad blog buddy!

One of the nice things of having people visit is getting to do things you haven’t done yourself yet. Like catch a Giants game:

And I like seeing things I’ve already seen too (like the Golden Gate Bridge & Palace of Fine Arts):

Cute Couple =)

Me and my gorgeous cousin

We also checked out the amazing Redwoods State Park in Big Basin. We packed a picnic lunch and wandered around checking out the amazing scenery.

Terry and I had never been there before and it was absolutely gorgeous.

We took them to an old favourite too – the Rose Garden in San Jose:

I managed to sneak in a 10km run at the annual Wharf to Wharf run in Santa Cruz too.

Me & my friend Di before the race

15,000 runners running along the coast of Santa Cruz to Capitola = crazy, but fun

Post-race smiles

Shakes from my favourite restaurant in Santa Cruz (Saturn Café)

Dinner out all dolled up. We clean up pretty good!

We are sad to see them go, but we had a blast while they were up.
Stay tuned for a fun, new recipe Friday =) And enjoy the rest of your week.
