Prom Done Vegan

Prom done Vegan was a success!! Several months of planning went into it, blood, sweat, and definitely tears haha. It was more work than any of us imagined. But let me tell you, if I got stuck stranded on a desert island, I would want to be with my prom co-organizers, otherwise known as my Promettes.

I gave you a teaser a few weeks ago, here are some more pics finally.

I am not the most creative person, fortunately, others on the committee were and everything was decorated really nicely.

And we had a ton of food to serve people!

We were lucky to have most of our food donated by awesome vegan companies and local vegan chefs. Although I may have spent several hours making 200 mini muffins…

We also had many generous contributions for our raffle and silent auction:

All in all, we made about $4,400 for The Humane League!

As organizers, we didn’t have much time to enjoy the festivities, but everyone definitely had fun eating, chatting and dancing the night away!

  1. The prom looked amazing Kimmy! I wish I could have been there! The pictures show what a great time everyone had as well as all the hard work you all put into it. Congrats on a great job and all the money you raised for the Humane League!
