Mango Spinach Smoothie


Smoothie rut anyone? I get into one of these way too often. I make the same damn smoothies over and over again. I tend to be in a rush in the morning, trying to get my workout in, walk the pooch and get to my volunteer shift. I had some extra time in the morning recently and decided to pause, think and refresh my morning fuel.

Mango Spinach Smoothie

1 large handful of spinach
1/2 cup of frozen mango
1 banana
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (optional)
1 heaping tbsp of cashew butter
2 tbsp of coconut yogurt
1/2 cup of coconut water
1/2 cup of almond milk

Blend and enjoy!

This is perfect after a run. Super refreshing.

  1. My regular smoothie is similar to this recipe! Baby spinach, frozen banana, frozen mango, LSA mix and oat milk. Sometimes I add frozen strawberries as well.
    Sometimes I will make one with cherries instead of mango and a tablespoon of cocoa powder and it is pretty great. But a bit rich for me to have all the time.

  2. I was in a smoothie rut for the past 4 months. I finally bought some new ingredients last weekend and forced myself to get some new veggies and fruit. Yours looks so tasty! Love that you added cashew butter and yogurt!
