Happy, Happy Friday!! I’m feeling better today, thank you all for your kind words and empathy on my last post. It is truly appreciate it and I am very grateful to be surrounded by such wonderful, caring people.
I’m still trying to get caught up from my tech break last week. I will let you in on a little secret. I was on vacation! Beautiful beaches, gorgeously sunny days and no sign of a computer for miles and miles. My kind of vacation.
And I will tell you ALL about it next week. But today is for HVF!

How have I never thought to combine avocado and mushrooms??? These are two of my favourite things. I can easily see this becoming an afternoon snack or post-run food. Yum!

I really love spinach & artichoke dip, but despite my attempts to healthy it up, it still isn’t all that healthy. I’m totally digging this healthier quiche version – especially with a tortilla base which makes it easy to make gluten-free.
Vegan Crab Cakes from Healthy Helper Blog:
I have been buying frozen, vegan crab cakes for my husband like a chump when I could have been making them myself! White beans bind these bad boys together and nori lends it that authentic “sea” flavour. Can’t wait to try these out =)
