Friday is totally my fav day of the week. Not only does it signify the weekend, aka more free, fun time with my favs (husband + puppy), it means it’s time for you to share your awesome sauce recipes!

New to HVF? Check out all of the info right here!

Let’s check out last week’s highlights.

Shaved Purple Asparagus & Asian Vegetable Soba Noodles from Strength & Sunshine:

How gorgeous is this bowl?! It’s full of fresh, spring veggies. And bonus points for the creative use of asparagus! This bowl is almost too pretty to eat. Almost… πŸ˜‰

Lemon Garlic Roasted Chickpeas from Courtney’s Cookbook:

This is some serious snack food right here! With just a few ingredients, this comes together quickly & makes the perfect on-the-go food.

Giant “Jaffa” Cake from Allotment 2 Kitchen:

This sounds like a fabulous potluck dessert. Marmalade, chocolate with a citrus zest? Yes, please!

This week, I’m sharing my Veggies with Garlic White Sauce:

I hope you have a great weekend planned, whether it’s exciting or relaxing.
Don’t forget to link back up to this post. Share away my vegan foodie lovers!

  1. Thank you so much for featuring my vegan ‘Jaffa’ cake. I hope to join in again, but off to check the other recipes you have shared here in more detail.

  2. Happy Friday Kimmy! Your garlic sauce looks delicious! I can’t have cashews, but a girl can drool. :-) Thanks for hosting, and have a great weekend!

    1. You could do it with coconut milk or another nutmilk instead and thicken it with flour and nutritional yeast. Thanks Lauren – your chocolate cookie dough candy bars sound amazeballs! Thank you so much for sharing. I hope you have a great weekend =)

    1. HVF has way of making hunger magically reappear! Especially when I see your recipe for Triple Coconut Chocolate Caramel Bars… seriously drooling over here! Thanks so much for sharing and have a great weekend =)

  3. Hi Kimmy.
So happy I found this site of yours thanks to Mandy.
I am trying. Plant based diet. Started a few days ago. So these recipes will be great to try.

Your “cousin”. As we adopted your mom as Aunt Alley. πŸ˜€. Deb Rose.
(Laura and Nick are my aunt and uncle.).

Looking forward from learning from you.

    1. Hi Deb! I remember you =) Thank you so much for the kind words. I wish you good luck on your plant based journey. Send me a note if you have any questions. I can give you the lowdown on shopping and eating in your area, give you some cookbook suggestions and other vegan blogs to check out!

  4. Oh. My. Gosh. Jaffa cake?! I have to make this for my husband! They’re so British and he has been missing them since we moved to Canada. Thank you a million times!

  5. So much yummy food! I am at work right now, and this is not the thing to look at when I am hungry and not near my kitchen. Someone needs to bring me jaffa cake right now. πŸ˜‰
