Healthy Vegan Fridays #92

It’s Friday – I’m in L❤︎VE!

New to HVF? Check out all of the info here!

Thank you for all of your kind words on my last post. I’m a lucky gal to have great friends like you =)

So. I totally dropped the ball on Easter. I kind of forgot about it and don’t have an easter recipe for you. I’m not sure I’ve ever made one actually looking at the old blog archives. I’ll try to remember next year!

BUT! The good news is, that some of you made some truly amazing themed recipes last week. Let’s check ’em out!

Healthy Homemade Cadbury Cream Eggs from Veggie Quest:

Wanting a vegan, gluten-free, low sugar sweet treat for the weekend? Look no further! These are AMAZING! I don’t know about you, but I was actually never a huge fan of the cream eggs. The chocolate was just ok and I don’t know about the cream filling. Meh. But these – THESE have me excited! Lee totally outdid herself on these =D

Mini Carrot Cake Bundts from Strength & Sunshine:

Another stellar submission from last week. So pretty! I love the sprinkles. These would make an excellent addition to any Easter meal.

Carrot Cake Cookies from GiGi Eats Celebrities:

How adorable are these cookies? And a nice gluten-free, sweet treat without being overly indulgent. Sounds like the perfect dessert =)

This week, I’m sharing my not-so Easter Miso-ish Soup:
MisoishSoupLink up & don’t forget to link back. Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. Beyond easter eggs and hot cross buns, I am never really sure what is ‘easter’ food. My family has never had a specific easter-type meal or anything. But those carrot cake goodies look like a great place to start!

    1. Haha – I think it’s ok that you have never really had a big, fancy meal at Easter. It’s overrated. Although I have to admit that I did make a vegan shepherd’s pie type casserole as I haven’t made a nice meal like that in awhile and it reminded me of something of things my family would make.
