Why yes, I am a Cure fan. And this is my favourite song of theirs. It’s actually one of my all time favourite songs. How can you not smile when listening to this song? Especially if it’s Friday. And today is FRIDAY!!

Who needs to buy store bought meat substitute when you can make your own? This has everything in it too! It’s got grains & veggies! I was surprised at the sheer amount of veggies in this! I think it would be a great way to sneak veggies into mealtime with the kiddos. Very versatile!

Creamy Pumpkin Seed Butter from Oatmeal with a Fork:


I think I could eat this with a spoon!!! Yum! I don’t know about you, but growing up I wasn’t a huge fan of pumpkin seeds, but I have fallen in love with them as an adult. Lauren shares a basic recipe for this nutbutter, but also shares some optional throw ins for a deliciously sweet treat.

Vegan Orange Hot Chocolate from Bite-Sized Thoughts:


So it’s definitely not snowy here in Northern California and “cold” is debatable (I love seeing people wear boots & hats while I relax in jeans a t-shirt. But that doesn’t meant I won’t enjoy some cozy & warming hot chocolate! Especially with a fun citrus twist.

    I wanted to respond to your inquiry about vegan white chocolate – I didn’t know if you would look back at my blog — so I’m leaving a comment here. I also love love love white chocolate and there is pretty much none here in the US. The secret is to do a vegan swap with someone in the UK or (better yet) Germany. They have a few great options over there! My new favorite is the Vivani white chocolate, and also the Vivani White Nougat bar. Also Organica makes a pretty good one too. You can actually get them from time to time (and for $$) on Vegan Essentials:

I think it applies to all diet types, including vegan, but if you don’t like it or find it irrelevant, feel free to remove it. Have a great weekend girl!

My roster is on a fortnightly schedule, so one Friday I will be super happy because it is the start of my 4 day weekend, but the next Friday I will be sad because I am working 12 hours and working Saturday and only have Sunday off for the weekend. But then the roster starts over again, so I can be happy again! It’s a rollercoaster. 😉

    Loving the look of the balsamic hummus stuffed potatoes from the offerings this week!

    1. 12 hours? Yikes, that’s a long day. I could see the pros and cons of this. I think it would be hard only have Sundays off sometimes, but other times it would be really nice to have a 4 day weekend! My dad used to have a job like this too – but his was 24/7 so he would always work 4 days on and 4 days off instead.
      So many great recipe ideas!!
