‘Twas the Friday before Christmas and all through the blogosphere,
amazing recipes were stirring from quite far and quite near.

As the end of the year is fast approaching, I wanted to say how grateful I am to all of you for all of your amazing contributions and keeping HVF going strong. I will admit that there have been times I have considered giving up, weeks when hardly anyone participated – but over the past several months, I have really seen things grow and more people joining up. I intend to keep hosting and I hope you keep sharing. Happy Holidays my HVF family!
We’ll start off by checking out your favs from last week.
Why Paleo Is Not For Me from Healthy Helper:
I have thought of writing a post like this for awhile, but I’m glad I didn’t as after reading Kaila’s post, it wouldn’t have come off as well as hers. She doesn’t use emotion to talk about this diet choice, but rather evidenced based facts. All in all, however you choose to eat is your choice, which I respect and appreciate, so does she =)
How to Eat 2 Pounds of Veggies a Day – Holiday Style from Veggie Quest:
Lee does a great job of giving tips how to stay veggie-filled this holiday. She makes it easy peasy! And includes recipes like her holiday quinoa loaf. Yum!
Healthy Seven-Layer Bars from Oatmeal With A Fork:
I love the sound of this lightened up version of layer bars. A perfect holiday treat that won’t send you into a sugar coma, but still caters to your sweet tooth. I also love that Lauren included her 2-ingredient recipe for homemade condensed milk. Score!
This week, I’m sharing my Kale Dip:
I’m looking forward to seeing all of your recipes! Especially your holiday-themed ones. I still need a few ideas on what to bring to my family dinners…
I hope you are enjoying some relaxed time with families and loved ones. See you all next week!
