I just wanted to say thank you for all of your kind words and wonderful support in my post earlier this week. I truly appreciate it =) I’m thankful to have amazing friends.
Happy Day after Tofurky Day!! To my American friends, I wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving weekend. I hope you are enjoying lots of delicious food with awesome friends. And though I am not American, since I live here, I will go with the flow and celebrate with you. Two Thanksgivings in a year? Yes, please!
Now, let’s get down to some recipe sharing!
Are you new to HVF? Check out all you need to know right here.
Before we share, let’s check out your favs from last week.
Whisky Portobello Mushroom Burgers from the Tofu Diaries:
You had me at mushroom. I LOVE mushrooms and making them into a burger is just plain awesome. The sauce sounds warming and would really help make a perfect meal on a cooler day (or just whenever you plain feel like it). Love the addition of avocado.
Triple Layer Spice Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting from The Lazy Vegan Baker:
How great would this be for the holiday weekend? Pretty darned perfect! It sounds simple to throw together, but sounds super delicious and would appeal to vegans an non-vegans alike.
Nice Krispie Squares from Vie de la Vegan:
Kyra made this from Dreena Burton’s new cookbook, Plant Powered Families (she’s doing a giveaway for the book and you can enter until the 30th!). I have fond memories of making rice krispie squares with my dad growing up – I like this lightened up, grown up version that is also kiddo friendly. I also appreciate her substitution suggestions as I didn’t quite have everything normally used in making them.
This week, I’m sharing my Hamburger Helper Knockoff:
Alright foodie friends, link up and don’t forget to link back. Tell your friends! Make some new friends! Have a super fantastic weekend =)
