Healthy Vegan Fridays #71

Happy Friday! And Happy Halloween!

What better way to celebrate than sharing some fun recipes?

Are you new to HVF? Check out the info here.

I’m excited to see what you guys share today! But, first check out some of your awesome holiday-themed recipes from last week.

True Blood Vegetable Juice from Vie de la Vegan:truebloodvegjuiceAny True Blood fans out there? I loved this show and watched loyally when it first came out, but halfway through the airing of the show, we moved and decided not to get cable. But I have fond memories and love all things vampire. This spooky drink would be a great party drink. Kyra really got a great colour going with the beets. Pretty and nutritious =)

8 Non-GMO Candies for Trick or Treaters from Urban Naturale:

I am having a little get together and I was torn as to whether I would serve candy or not. I didn’t want to serve too much junk as I’m already making some treats, but was excited to see this guide. I picked up some Surf Sweet candies and I’m going to try and find some choco chews. I love that these are all vegan and non-gmo and a lot of them are organic. Awesome choices =)

And my Pumpkin Cartwheels:

A fun treat for the holiday (or any time!). Soy-free, gluten-free and refined-sugar free.

Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? I have some exciting things to look forward to (I’ll take pictures and share with you next week). I hope you have a super fun weekend! Enjoy some delicious treats!

You know what I’m sharing… Your least favourite vegetable… Beets! But since they are in the form of a delicious Chocolate Cake please forgive me. πŸ˜‰
