It’s Friday! The end of the week! The weekend is just a short few hours away. Yay! What better way to celebrate it than sharing all of our awesome sauce recipes?
New to HVF? Check out all of the information right here.
This week I’m doing a giveaway for some awesome sauce probiotics. I had the nice folks at Mercola ask if I wanted to try their probiotics. I’m not one to take a bunch of vitamins (I’m good with a multi & some calcium), but I do like to take probiotics daily to help with good gut health.
These probiotics are great! I enjoyed them. They are vegan – which is the #1 thing I look for in any sort of supplement! They are easy to swallow and odourless with no strong taste. They are top notch quality with loads of great probiotic strains and no fillers.
I am happy to announce that Dr. Mercola’s Complete Probiotics will be sent to one lucky reader living in Canada or the U.S. Just comment letting me know you’re interested in trying them and I will select a winner with a random number generator and announce the winner next week. The giveaway closes at midnight Tuesday, October 13th.
**I did not receive any sort of financial compensation for this review, I simply received a bottle of the probiotics free of charge to try.
Now, back to HVF!
I’m still trying to get back in the swing of things now that MoFo is over. If you want to keep the party going – you should totally check out this post by Jennifer of My Blissful Journey. She’s keeping an “off season” blogroll for those who want to keep in touch and to make some new blogging buddies. Fun stuff! Even with MoFo gone, we still got a ton of people sharing recipes last week. Let’s check out your favs!
Spicy Vegan Chorizo Hash from The Green Genie:
Potatoes and chorizo? Yes, please! Not only does Sara serve this delicious looking meal in an adorable dish – she tops it with some magical vegan product I’ve never heard of – The Vegg. It is apparently the closest you’ll get to having an egg while keeping plant based. I’m super intrigued!
Mexican Pizza from Vie de la Vegan:
Best. Fusion. Ever. I’ve heard that great minds think alike – clearly Kyra and I are two peas of the same pod because we both decided to make a Mexican style pizza for the fusion MoFo challenge. I love a good pizza and would it enjoy it even more with her delicious homemade crust and chili cheese sauce!
Strawberry Cream Pie from GiGi Eats Celebrities:
Want to laugh so hard your stomach will hurt? Go check out GiGi’s pie. Or any of her posts actually. She’s pretty hilarious =) I’m loving the sound of this healthy pie! I’ve been trying to lay off the sweet treats lately, but this sounds like a great dessert to have without indulging so much. I need to track down a heart shaped cake pan!
This week, I’m sharing some Black Bean Plantain Tortillas:
So link up and link lots and share the linky love. I need some meal ideas for next week’s menu plan 😉
Have a fantastic weekend!
