Never heard of Healthy Vegan Fridays before? It’s an amazing weekly linkup for bloggers to share their delicious and healthy vegan food. This linkup is not restricted to recipes though – feel free to share your posts on exercise & fitness, plant-based health & wellness,  and/or vegan travel, restaurant and cookbook reviews.

Don’t have a blog? Don’t worry! You can come and see what others have shared and find some tasty food to try!

September Theme: Fall Inspired Recipes

Let’s check out our favourite fall themed recipes from last week. Thanks to everyone who participated in this challenge – here are the highlights.

Chocolate Mocha Cupcakes with Pumpkin Pie Frosting from Beautifully Bohemian:

These were made for a birthday party – what lucky ducks that attended this shindig. Chocolate cupcakes are the bomb, and who knew it could get better, but it does! This Pumpkin pie frosting sounds scrumptious.

Hearty & Easy Crockpot Vegetable Soup from Running in a Skirt:

Ahhhh comforting vegetable soup. What says fall more than warming soup with loaded with harvest-y veggies. I love the addition of beans for protein.

Carmelized Curried Acorn Squash from Hungry Mountaineer:

This is definitely the most creative use of squash I have seen! They sound delicious AND they look like french fries. I could get used to this kind of fall food =)

Autumn Granola from Courtney’s Cookbook:

Sweet, cinnamony-y granola! Cooking this alone would get someone to fall in love with this season – the smell would be amazing. The taste even better. I can’t wait to try this out.

This week Mary Ellen is sharing her Vanilla Almond Balls:

Um yes please! She shares a great tip to combat grabbing store-bought bars – just make these bad boys over the weekend and eat them throughout the week for a healthy snack. Sounds like a great post-workout snack!

And keeping with the ball theme, I’m sharing my PMS Bites:

Stay tuned for the next challenge!

We’d love it if you link up and bring some friends to the party! We’ll be pinning and sharing your tasty treats on social media!

  1. I found your lovely blog hop today and am so glad I did! A vegetarian/vegan blogger myself, I’m always looking for healthy recipes to try. Thank you for hosting this blog hop, and I will be a regular visitor and contributor here.

    1. Aspara – I’m so happy you found us =) Thank you for stopping by and I really look forward to checking out your sprouted Black Eyed Bean recipe! I Hope you have a fantastic weekend!

  2. The problem with your HVF is that there are too many good recipes for me to try… I have a list so long now that I might end up not having time to create my own new recipes for my blog! lol
