Happy Friday!! I’m super excited for the weekend.
I’m headed to Sebastapol with my friend Jessie to have fancy pants tea at Muir’s Tea Room. We’re celebrating our birthdays as she wasn’t able to make my get together lat month and her birthday just past. We’ve actually been there before and it’s awesome. Yesterday marks the beginning of Mary Ellen’s September Healthy Eating Challenge. I’m looking forward to connecting with others on this =)

Three Layer Nacho Dip from Sandi’s Allergy Free Recipes:
With all of the fresh tomatoes at the market right now, I’m itching to make this. I have a get together coming up and this is definitely what I’m bringing. This is something everyone will enjoy.
Southwestern Pesto Pasta from Fueled by Carrots:
I love pasta. Like LOVE it. We tend to stick to the marinara variety, but this simple pesto sounds lovely and so simple to make. A great meal to enjoy mid-week and I’m totally digging the homemade vegan parmesan.
Red Lentil Pizza Crust from Oatmeal with a Fork:
Speaking of favourites – pizza is a close second to pasta! It’s tough being gluten-free though, so I always appreciate a good gluten-free crust. Especially with lentils for a good protein boost.
Chickpeas and Olives Paté from Emmi’s Cookin’:
Although this is chickpea based, it also incorporates smoked tofu, which would give a really good flavour (and texture!) with the olives. Great sandwich topping =)
