Baby, it’s the freakin’ weekend! I’m looking forward to the weekend because I’m headed to Yosemite for the first time ever. It’s been on my to-do list since moving to California 4 years ago. It sounds like any of the restaurants in the park aren’t super vegan friendly. So I’m packing a ton of snacks 😉 I’m also going to make granola and some runner balls.

How have I never thought of making sweet potato with delicious sweet potatoes? Fresh dill really adds a wonderful summer flavour and the pickles give it a bit of a sour kick. Great way to re-vamp an old favourite.
Pizza Crackers from Vegan Dollhouse:
These crackers are completely adorable. AND I love all things pizza flavoured =D I really like how these use some great, seasonal produce too. I can’t wait to try making these in different shapes.
Strawberry Curry from Allotment 2 Kitchen:
I’ve never tried a fruit curry – always savoury. Sounds like a great way to shake things up. Shaheen even uses fresh strawberries from her own backyard. Talk about local and seasonal eats 😉
Savoury Pesto Zucchini Muffins from One Raw Bite:
Speaking of always having savoury curry – I also always have sweet muffins. I need to switch it up! There is an abundance of zucchini at the Farmer’s Market right now, I’m looking forward to trying a new recipe with them instead of my standard stir fry.
