Healthy Vegan Fridays #109

I’m still in Canada! I’m super behind on blogging as I don’t always have access to the internet… but to be honest, it’s been nice. It’s a nice tech break and I’m having so much fun with friends & family. I will be back next week and try to catch up. Until then, you’ll just have to link on up with your awesome recipes today =D

Don’t forget to sign up for the reminder email so you can link up each and every Friday (scroll on down to the bottom).

Never heard of Healthy Vegan Fridays before? It’s an amazing weekly linkup for bloggers to share their delicious and healthy vegan food. This linkup is not restricted to recipes though – feel free to share your posts on exercise & fitness, plant-based health & wellness,  and/or vegan travel, restaurant and cookbook reviews.

Don’t have a blog? Don’t worry! You can come and see what others have shared and find some tasty food to try!

Let’s check out some of last week’s recipes!

Korean Glass Noodle Bowls (Japchae) from Sprinkle of Vanilla Sugar:

Who knew stirfry could actually look pretty? Mine always looks like a thrown together mess. I need to track some of these gorgeous glass noodles. Check out the recipe, but read through her post on taking adventures and finding yourself in exciting places and doing fun things!

4 Ingredient Hummus Balls from And a Dash of Cinnamon:

Am I the only one who is constantly on the look out for quick & easy snack to make when I’m on the go? Gotta love these cute little snackies. And they are packed with protein. Sounds perfect!

Pineapple Ginger Lemonade Refresher from A Whisk and Two Wands:

Look – it’s summer in a glass! This gorgeous drink sounds like the perfect way to cool off on a hot summer day. And it’s anti-inflammatory and will make your tastebuds and tummy super happy =)

Healthy Greek Salad Dressing from Running in a Skirt:

I actually haven’t bought salad dressing in several years. But I tend to just make a simple (boooorrrriiiinnng) dressing out of olive oil & lemon or lime juice. This is a little more vinegar-heavy, which I prefer and it’s loaded with some great spices. Get ready to fall in love with your salad!

This week Mary Ellen is sharing her Spiral Thai Slaw Salad:

And I am sharing my Edible Bouquet Tutorial:

We’d love it if you link up and bring some friends to the party! We’ll be pinning and sharing your tasty treats on social media!

  1. Hi Kimmy,

Thank goodness it’s Friday! So many yummy vegan recipes to explore. Today I shared a Coco-Nutty Pina Colada Smoothie. Have a great weekend! Thanks for hosting!

    1. Ooooh virgin Pina Coladas are my favourite drink, so I bet I will LOVE your smoothie! Thanks so much for sharing – I can’t wait to check it out. I hope you’re having a great week, Deborah =)

  2. Thanks for featuring our glass noodles! It was a wonderful surprise! WE feel so honored. Hopefully you will get to try making it and thanks so much for hosting. My sister and I always look forward to Healthy Vegan Fridays!

  3. Hope you are having a great time in Canada Kimmy! Thank you for including my Pineapple Ginger Lemonade Refresher! I failed at posting Friday, first time not posting 3 times a week or a Friday ever I think. By the time I realized my mistake I just gave up since I didn’t have signal and wasn’t going to attempt to do it on a family members phone or drive 45 mins to get signal so well I just had to accept it. Next week…. hope you have a great week!

    1. I had such a lovely time – it was great. Your refresher sounds great – I can’t wait to try it, I know my husband will really enjoy it.
Haha – don’t worry about it ;p Blogging is for fun, right?
I hope you are having a great week Sarah!
