Healthy Vegan Friday #41

Good morning, Beautiful! I hope today is the start of a great day and an even better weekend!

And why not kick the weekend off with some healthy & vegan recipes? New to HVF? Check out the info here.

Do you have any Easter-themed recipes to share this week? We don’t really celebrate Easter, but I always like a good excuse to make a nice, more labour-intensive meal =)

Let’s check out what you liked from last week!

No Bake Banana Nut Protein Bars from the Healthy Helper:

I love the sound of these home-made protein bars. Perfect for snacks on the go or to have on hand for  a pre or post-workout snack.  I like how there is minimal prep-work involved.

Vegan “Milk” Chocolate Easter Eggs from Vie De La Vegan:

How cute are these?! I love this idea =) Much healthier than it’s store-bought counterpart. I don’t have any kiddos to make them for, so I guess I’ll just have to make some for myself ;p Maybe I’ll share with Terry…

Black Eyed Pea Chili from Organic Life on a Budget:

I like the sound of this chili – it’s quite different than what I normally make. Black eyed peas are the perfect accompaniment to the tomato sauce. Chalk full of protein and so healthy! Check out the link on the post for homemade veggie broth, too.

This week, I’m sharing my almost raw Caramel Cheesecake – perfect dessert this weekend:

I’m excited to see what you share this week. So link up & don’t forget to link back and share the linky love =)

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, whatever you are up to!

  1. The black-eyed pea chili sounds so good and a bit different. I love black-eyed peas so I’ll definitely be trying that one. Thanks, so much, for this link-up … there are always such great recipes!

    1. Thanks for stopping by Cyndi. I like that the chili is different, I tend to get in a bit of a rut sometimes making the same types of food, it’s good to switch it up. Have a great weekend =)

    1. Your bars look awesome sauce – they will be making an appearance in my kitchen very soon… although I imagine they won’t last long ;p Thanks so much for sharing the recipe Kaila =)
