I came across some pictures of this delicious vegan yogurt on Instagram. I’m always looking for a good yogurt as I like making parfaits, adding it to my smoothies & cheezes. I’m still trying to find the perfect one and I think this might be it!
It has one of the best textures I have come across in plant-based yogurt AND it’s not too sweet. I find this combo very hard to come across. I am really not a fan of super sweet yogurts. I also like that it’s gluten & soy free and has no added sugar. It’s creamy, dreamy and dee-licious!
Cherry Oat Parfait (makes 2)
2/3 cups of non-dairy yogurt of your choice
2 good hand fulls of cherries
2/3 cup of oats
1/2 cup of chopped nuts (I used a mix of walnuts, pecans, amonds & cashews)
2 tsp of maple syrup
a pinch of cinnamon & salt
Mix the granola ingredients together. I start by layering the yogurt on the bottom, adding the prepared granola, then the cherries and repeat.
I was especially excited to use the rainier cherries I found at the Farmer’s Market. They are my favourite cherry. They are so pretty too!
