Ok – it’s already suppertime here and I’m realising I have not posted yet today. Yikes! My goal is 3x a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays so I better get one in here, even if it’s only short & sweet. Besides, it’s Monday. We’re all starting our week and are already busy bees!
So here is a quick and easy breakfast idea for you:
There isn’t really much of a recipe. Just take whatever fruit you have on hand (I used a peach, some cherries, strawberries & blueberries), grab a few nuts (I used walnuts, but pecans would work well for this too – I just crumbled them a bit with my hands – no chopping necessary for these nuts!) and mix it together. I then topped it with a sprinkle of cinnamon and carob. YUM. It kept me going all morning right through my arms workout and straight through pilates. This is something you could easily take on the run too.
