This year was my 5th time hosting an annual Holiday Treat Exchange. As I was busy this year, I ended up making similar things from last year. Robin on the other hand, brought things to epic levels with these Unicorn Sugar Cookies (with a matching unicorn dress to boot!). Isn’t she completely adorable?
Check out all of these awesome treats everyone brought!
Jessie with her ginger chocolate chip cookies.
Lizze with some ginger snaps.
Ashley and her oatmeal chocolate chip.
Me and my peppermint bark.
Unicorn eating a cookie!
Tip for cookie exchange: prepare lighter snacks (like hummus and veggies, cheeze & crackers, mini oranges, etc) so you aren’t tempted to load up on cookies while you exchange them. This may have been learned over a few years of exchanges haha 😉
The idea for the cookie exchange is that everyone makes at least 1 dozen of a holiday-themed treat (2 dozen is preferable). Everyone goes home with a few of each different kind of treat in a box. Everyone had enough to make a box, plus take some extras home (and enough for sampling of course.
ps! We had a great time at the holiday party too! We clean up pretty good =D
