I have been keeping way too busy lately and am working at finding a balance in life… which means spending a bit less time on the blog. BUT I still have a goal of posting 3 times a week, it just may mean super quick updates on some days ;p

In other news. Terry and I have decided to adopt a fur baby. This is a big step for us and I’m super excited!!! I’ve been asking him for about 5 years and now that we are in a position where I stay at home a lot, we feel like it’s a good time for us. I think it would help me feel better as I haven’t been feeling the greatest with this whole house wife gig.
Any tips you may have would be greatly appreciated! We’ve decided on getting a dog from a rescue organisation, preferably 1-2 years old, a non-shedding dog (as I tend towards allergies), a small-medium dog (15-25 pounds), an active dog (for walks, hikes, running etc), without being hyper and a cuddly, lovey sweetheart =) I think that’s my doggie wish list. I think I already know which organisation I’m going through and will probably make a whole separate post about this, but I’m just wondering what your thoughts are (whether you have a fur baby or not).
On a side note, I recently mentioned in a blog post, back when I was visiting some friends and family in September, I was lucky enough to have dinner with the lovely and talented (and in real life bestie!) Sarina of Earthgiven Kitchen. She made a spectacular dish and I told you I would share the recipe when it was up. It’s up! Go check it out – it was incredibly delicious and very allergy friendly =)
